It's Officially Summer!

We had our last ASL baking class two weeks ago and whew, I need a break! It will be fun focusing on experimenting in the kitchen again. Will definitely make cinnamon rolls and macarons and hopefully the macarons turn out better this time around. We'll see!
To kick off our next season of baking classes, we are hosting a Build Your Own Cheesecake Jar workshop on August 1st from 1 - 2:30 pm at The Table Public House. It's off of Broadway and Evans. I am so excited for this! The link is officially on my website to buy tickets.

This event is hosted through Hoamsy so the sign up form is different. I'm trying them out to see if they are a good fit for Bake it with Sass. The way it works is for each ticket I sell, they get a percentage which goes to renting the space and their platform fees. I get the rest. Hoamsy has parterned with a bunch of spaces (none with ovens unfortantely) but I can pick from their list. Most of them were breweries which was annoying. I wanted a family friendly space so I could allow kids to come too. The Table Public House is the only one that fits my needs plus it's centrally located. If all goes well, I might reach out to this location directly and see if I can get just make a deal with them. I really like what I've seen/read on their website so far.
I have begun to write out dates and recipes for our virtual classes from August through Decemember. October is still in the air due to not knowing if I will be moving then. I might have to skip a virtual class that month. I do hope to have an in person ASL baking class making cinnamon rolls. Stay tuned!
Last thing! If you've taken a class or hope to, please fill out this survey! It's quick, I promise! Our goal at Bake it with Sass is to empower YOU to learn how to bake from scratch in an ASL inclusive environment. So any feedback you have to make our classes, subscriptions and community better, please let us know! If you'd rather reply to this email, go for it!
