Slideshow Presentation

I can create a slideshow presentation about my business, my background, how to bake from scratch etc. Will include a Q/A at the end.

Private ASL Baking Experience

I love teaching families with Deaf children, ASL students, and those in the Deaf/HoH community how to bake from scratch!

Private ASL Baking Experiences are customized hands-on baking classes designed for organizations, schools, community groups and families. Pricing is based on group size and the level of event support needed. Classes include ASL instruction, recipe guidance and hands-on baking instruction. Organizations may provide their own venue and ingredients, or Bake it with Sass can coordinate those services for an additional fee.

  • 1.5 - 2 hours
  • English-speaking interpreter included
  • Interactive bake-along
  • Q&A/troubleshooting
  • Ingredient/equipment list given beforehand
  • Multiple family members welcome per device
  • PDF recipe card designed by The Sassy Baker emailed after class

 

  • Businesses/standard organizations: $800 / up to 15 devices
  • Standard Nonprofits: $650 / up to 15 devices
  • Deaf-community organizations with limited budgets: custom community-access pricing
  • 21+ devices: large-group pricing

~Using your Zoom room or an interpreter you already have on staff will lower the costs.

 

In person:

What's Included:

  • Choice of recipe
  • 2.5–4 hour ASL baking class
  • Hands-on instruction and demonstrations
  • Baking ingredients and supplies/equipment provided and guidance how to use/measure etc.
  • Set up/preparation
  • Cleanup
  • Private event exclusively for the organization

 

Small private class 8 - 10 participants: $750

Standard class 11 - 15 participants: $950

Large group class 16 - 20 participants: $1,200+

 

~Additional costs for travel and special equipment if needed

~Providing venue, ingredients/tools, interpreter will lower costs

 

Mug Cake Baking Experience

Personally, I'm a huge fan of mug cakes because it's one serving. All you need is a mug and a microwave!

Virtual:

Organizations/Non-Profit Partner

An hour long class for up to 10 devices: $300/$250

Up to 20 devices: $500/$400

Up to 30 devices: $600/$500

The organization/families provide:

  • Mug
  • Ingredients
  • Microwave
  • Measuring spoons/cups

The Sassy Baker provides:

  • Step by step ASL instruction
  • English-speaking interpretation
  • Recipe
  • Ingredient list beforehand
  • Zoom Room
  • Live demonstration
  • Troubleshooting/Q&A

 ~Can lower costs if schools/organization provide Zoom room and/or interpreter

In-Person

Willing to discuss. Can lower costs if organization provides ingredients/interpreter/space.

Will cap at 20 participants.
