Kissfist 2026 is a Wrap!!!
I want to give you a recap of how Kissfist Mural Fest went last Sunday. AMAZING! I met so many new people and got to chat with old friends. I honestly had a blast even though I was awake by 6 am and didn't get home till about 6 pm (granted, I picked up dinner and ran into a friend at Chipotle!). I almost sold out of the gluten-free Oreo blondies and chai bars. Those were the two bestsellers. I had about 5 regular Oreo blondies, 3 pumpkin snickerdoodle bars, and 3 vegan Samoas brownies left. My friends Amanda and Sierra helped me with loading, setting up, serving, and packing up all day! I can't thank them enough. The community I have found here in Colorado has been overwhelming. I can't help but think about the desperate, tear-streaked prayers I had in high school for community. I had no one back then. Fast forward through so much pain and heartache, I was able to come out the other side with a strong community who has my back even at 6 am! God knew what the other side looked like and didn't let me give up even when I wanted to.

About Bake Fest... So...you know how I was going to bake a Blood Orange Chai Cake?...well...I guess I was wrong about blood oranges being available in late September. Oooops! So, I am going to try making it with cara cara oranges this coming week and have my coworkers try it out. Wish me luck! Come try it on October 3rd at Rebel Bread.

The Samoas Brownies virtual class is right around the corner! September 26th at 2 pm MT. If you've been on the fence but haven't commited yet, come get your ticket! As a reminder, if you take two virtual classes in a calendar year, you get the third ticket free!!
When I sent out that summer survey, people responded with wanting to learn how to make peach cobbler so...I am teaching how to make it on October 17th! I miss my great aunt's peach cobbler, but I think mine isn't too shabby! If you're not a huge fan of cinnamon or nutmeg, feel free to leave that out. I tend to include allspice in mine as well. As always, you can tweak it to your preference when it comes to spices. AND you can make this gluten or dairy free - mine will be! I always give my sassy bakers tips on how to convert to low sugar or avoid certain allergens.
December announcement!
I have decided to have an in person workshop on December 5th instead of a virtual class. I plan to host a Sassy Snow Globe Dessert Workshop at the Koelbel Library in Centennial, CO. Most likely will start around noon or 1 pm. My plan is to set it up like I did for the cheesecake jar, but this time on my website. I'm not using Hoamsy anymore. Didn't really like their platform. There will be different tiers (bring your own cup vs having me design one and a family of 4 rate). Will start a little bit lower priced because I am using plastic cups instead of mason jars. Once I have time to finish setting everything up on my website, (hopefully next week) I will include the sign up link.
