Honey Lavender Scones Anyone?

I can finally announce the location of our in-person ASL baking class on May 2nd! It will be held at The Flour Shop in 5 Points in Denver. I met the owner through the Boss Babes Facebook Group a month or so ago, and she offered her bakery to us to rent for a class! This will be a trial run, and if it all goes well, this might become a regular space we can use! So excited for this new adventure/friendship!

One of my concerns was parking, since it's close to downtown, but she told me there is free parking around her bakery! YAY! I also scoped out the area last week. I don't know about you, but parking situations are a make-or-break moment. Typically, if an event I want to attend is in downtown Denver, my heart drops because I am thinking about the energy it will take to find parking and my annoyance of having to pay for it. No worries for this ASL baking class, though!

Early bird pricing is $55 until April 1st! Only 10 spots! So sign up early. As a reminder, New Sass on the Block sassy bakers can come for 50% off, and Beyond Sassy bakers can attend for free! Newsletter subscribers...your code is below ;)

Did you see the Instagram video of my dreamy Cookies and Cream Cookies I made last weekend? They are divine! If you missed it, here is a picture!

When we arrived, we were told to go to a suite instead of a seat. We knew it was going to be a suite, but we were not expecting a SUITE! Meaning center view, no obstructions, two ASL interpreters, free food, water and a room full of Deafies looking ...
Deaf Events > Hearing Events
If you have a choice between going to a regular event (maybe one that isn't interpreted) vs a Deaf event. Which one would you choose? If it's interpreted, then that would be a harder decision. BUT I'd rather spend time with my Deafies than random hearing people. On that note, there are so many events coming up, it's insane. Yes, it's concert season AND festival season, so that's probably why.ย  ...
