Happy New Year: Your Guide to the New Sassy Batch!

Connect

Hello there, Sassy Batchers! Welcome to the new and improved Sassy Batch weekly newsletter. Weโ€™re making some changes! Some updates will be posted on our website, but to stay informed about all the latest news, youโ€™ll need to sign up. Link on the main page of my website. This will be posted on my website as well.

Classes

First, one of the main updates we send out weekly is about upcoming classes, both virtual and in-person. All Sassy Batch subscribers will receive a $5 off code for each virtual class. There will also be steeper discounts and discounts toward in-person classes and workshops.

On-Demand Courses

Next, the on-demand courses. We aim to have a video added to either the New Sass on the Block or the Beyond Sassy library once a month. Since I am a one-woman small business owner, that doesn't always happen, but that is my goal.

Events

Finally, let's talk about special events! I love announcing these the most because everyone gets a chance to see me in person either selling baked goods or getting to listen to me talk about something that inspires me. In 2025, I did two Deaf events where I sold out on my Blondies among other baked goods. I also did a workshop for Deaf and HoH high schoolers in Denver. In July, I flew to Houston for the Deaf Women's United conference which was so enlightening and lit a new fire for Bake it with Sass and my love for my community.

Lastly, I want to remind all of you that I love hearing from you. Whether it's a recipe you love or want to learn how to make, pictures of what you have made, questions you have about Deaf culture or baking etc. Keep them coming! Bake it with Sass wouldn't be where it is today without you sassy bakers! Thankyou!

That's all for this week, Sassy Batchers! Keep exploring, keep sharing, and most importantly, keep being sassy.

Nothing says home than the smell of fresh baked goods.

It's a short list of ingredients, found on my website. Hope to see you there! In a few weeks, I will be flying to Connecticut for the Deaf Expo! Super excited! Wonder if anyone will recognize me...probabl...
Saturday Was Filled with Honey, Lavender and Laughter
Thank you all so much for attending last Saturday. I truly enjoyed chatting and teaching you all how to make Honey Lavender Scones! They came out beautifully! I have been chatting with a venue for our next in person ASL baking class! Still ironing out details but it most likely will be in October. I am not sure if I can handle doing an event in August but I will let you all know. My interpre...
My Biggest In-Person ASL Baking Class YET!
This just might become the biggest in-person (aside from my test class) ASL baking class I have hosted yet! I am so excited but incredibly nervous. New venue, new faces, and new interpreters! I'm ok! The other thing I am nervous about is making sure I don't forget anything! I will be triple-counting the ingredients and tools on Saturday morning! If you still want to join us, there are two ticke...
