My Biggest In-Person ASL Baking Class YET!

Apr 30, 2026
Connect

This just might become the biggest in-person (aside from my test class) ASL baking class I have hosted yet! I am so excited but incredibly nervous. New venue, new faces, and new interpreters! I'm ok! The other thing I am nervous about is making sure I don't forget anything! I will be triple-counting the ingredients and tools on Saturday morning!

If you still want to join us, there are two tickets left for our Honey Lavender Scones class! We are meeting at The Flour Shop in downtown Denver. FREE parking! As I have gotten older, I realize just how valuable free parking is in this city! See you there!

Our free ASL baking class on May 30th has 16 people signed up already!? WHOA! Another record! Let's make Strawberry Shortcake in a Mug!

I still feel like I am recuperating from the ASL Festival last weekend! WHEW! I sold out of almost everything I made. I only had 7 blondies left to take home. Thank you all so much for coming out and supporting RMDS, CSDB and your favorite baker!

Meaning center view, no obstructions, two ASL interpreters, free food, water and a room full of Deafies looking ...
Deaf Events > Hearing Events
If you have a choice between going to a regular event (maybe one that isn't interpreted) vs a Deaf event. Which one would you choose? If it's interpreted, then that would be a harder decision. BUT I'd rather spend time with my Deafies than random hearing people. On that note, there are so many events coming up, it's insane. Yes, it's concert season AND festival season, so that's probably why.ย  ...
New Baking Classes Scheduled!
Have you taken a look at the 2026 ASL Baking Class Schedule yet to see what we have in store from August through December? No!? ย Check it out! Our next in-person workshop is coming up soon! People have already signed up and I am so excited! If you are dairy-free and/or gluten-free, come join us! I will have ingredients you can use to build your own cheesecake jar! If you are on the fence about ...
