ASL Cake Painting Workshop

Join us March 7th in Aurora, CO at the MLK Jr. Library for a hands-on ASL-accessible workshop where you'll be able to unleash your creativity on a piece of vanilla cake!

Led in American Sign Language with a voice interpreter provided, this class is designed for both Deaf/Hard of Hearing and hearing participants who want to connect and create together in an inclusive, welcoming space.

What you'll get:

• Instructions in ASL with a voice English interpreter present
• A large piece of vanilla cake with a white frosted canvas
• Design tools to use
• Multi-colored frosting to decorate with
• A box to take your cake home in, if you'd like

You don't need to bring any ingredients or tools. Everything will be provided along with an interpreter for those who aren't fluent.
