Baking Levels Explained

Have you ever seen a reel or read an email about an upcoming class, but weren't sure if it was a recipe you'd feel comfortable making?

I totally get it! Sometimes I read a recipe on a blog and I am unsure if I will succeed. To help ease your fears, I started including what level of baker I think the recipe would be best for. Most recipes I teach via virtual classes will be for all levels. Every once in a while, I will teach a class specifically for beginners or intermediate/advanced sassy bakers. I think this will help potential students figure out what works best for them. As always, I am here to help! During our monthly virtual classes, I encourage students to use the chat feature if they don't want to use their voice or sign their question.

My goal for every sassy baker who takes my classes or subscribes to one of my monthly subscriptions is to help them feel more confident in the kitchen. Whether you prefer real-time direction or learn at your own pace, my desire is for you to be a successful, sassy baker!

So from now on, on the baking class schedule page, you will see what level of baker that class is designed for. If you consider yourself a beginner but really want to try an advanced recipe, please do! You never know what you're capable of unless you try! Everyone who has attended a class so far has been so encouraging to newer bakers or those unsure of themselves. Please don't be shy!

Our Marshmallow Stuffed Blizzard Cookie class was so much fun! I loved devouring my cookies - they lasted about 5 days HAHA Here is a picture of mine!

Wonder if anyone will recognize me...probabl...
Saturday Was Filled with Honey, Lavender and Laughter
Thank you all so much for attending last Saturday. I truly enjoyed chatting and teaching you all how to make Honey Lavender Scones! They came out beautifully! I have been chatting with a venue for our next in person ASL baking class! Still ironing out details but it most likely will be in October. I am not sure if I can handle doing an event in August but I will let you all know. My interpre...
My Biggest In-Person ASL Baking Class YET!
This just might become the biggest in-person (aside from my test class) ASL baking class I have hosted yet! I am so excited but incredibly nervous. New venue, new faces, and new interpreters! I'm ok! The other thing I am nervous about is making sure I don't forget anything! I will be triple-counting the ingredients and tools on Saturday morning! If you still want to join us, there are two ticke...
